   Dear all,
   
   My ESS was working fine but suddenly unable to update virus signature today, " virus database signature could not be updated. Error downloading file from update server "
   
   I am not behind any firewall and ping to u20.eset.com.
   
   Anyone have the same problem ?

   I would check to see if any other security programs might be interfering with updating.
   
   Perhaps an email program checking for email, for instance, is taking priority over updating.
   
   It could be a glitch in your connection at the time ESS is checking for updates.
