I see that this is an OLD PROBLEM but found no help in this forum or PREVX support(?) either. I had a SSD give up in my PC and replaced it with a new SSD and reloaded OS. Went to MyPrevx to deactivate the present license only to find there were 3 "active" PCs listed and my license is for 2, my laptop and PC. I deactivated one which was actually my old PC which left 2 active. I wanted to deactivate the one that crashed and activate the license on my new SSD (same PC) when I got the error. I contacted Prevx yesterday afternoon and got a reply at 10:16PM asking me to logon to Prevx Support and continue this conversation which I did and have not recieved a response yet. Hello... is there anybody out thereo_Oo_Oo_O??

Sorry for the problems you are having can you Please try to contact Prevx support again http://info.prevx.com/service.asp and when PrevxHelp comes around be sure to have your License ready as he will send you a PM and can fix it for you, with your low post count he will have to contact you first!

Thanks for the reply but what does my low post count have to do with anything? I found this forum after I googled this error. I only registered here because Prevx Customer "Service" will not respond! Maybe a backcharge from my CC will get their attention. This is BS

    Hello,
I've sent you a PM and should be able to fix your license quickly without a problem. It needs to be reset on our end, which is why there isn't a solution that a user can make on their own.

    Sorry for the inconvenience!

It only means, what Triple Helix tried to explain, that new members can't send the IM first and need to wait for the other party to start conversation via IM.

    I have the same problem.

Changed my laptop HDD to SSD and formated.

Now, when i try to deactivate the license, they can't allow it.

Have you tried sending Support a short note explaining? That's all it takes...

Please send your key code to PrevxHelp via PM and he will reset it for you! Or contact Prevx support as PatG & fax has suggested!
