Error burning bootable CD-R/...

    I'm not able to make a bootable CD-R
    I use W2000 and a Memorex CD-R/RW
    It works wit a diskette, but not CD
    Please help
    - It work now ONLY with CD-RW

    Better to use CD-RW anyway, as your will save on coasters.

    Hello miamigo

    Some CD burners are much too fast for their own good when writing to CD-R. Try a different make of media (I swear by Verbatim CDs and DVDs) or slow down your drive a bit if it came supplied with a suitable utility.

    However, as TheQuest said, CD-RW is better bearing in mind that you need to create a new bootable rescue CD each time you update TI to the latest build.
