    Hi

I am using OzSync in backup mode and it does a fine job with low overheads AUTOMATICALLY and its FREE.

Until, that is, I put on my Windows 7 system an older image which also has Ozsync on board. The net result is that it then copied an older file to my backup location and overwrote the newest version on my USB drive.

I cannot find a way to change this in either OzSync or a number of other backup freeware.

Anybody suggest, a) the settings needed to ensure that older copies are NOT backed up. b) Freeware that will automatically backup only if the file is newer than the backed up file.

    Thanks

    Terry

A couple for you to try:
    FreeFileSync
    Areca Backup

I use Areca Backup to back up my data files, and FreeFileSync to sync Areca's backups to my portable hard disk.
