    Hi !

    I would like to know why since the last week of july NOD32 always downloads the engine0.nup about 4.5 mb when it auto updates ... o_O

    It shows the message that "The downloaded file is damaged" before it download each time the engine0 file.

    I reinstall NOD32 2.51.26 but it is still doing the same thing !!!

    What can i do now ?

    Your NOD32 really seems to be damaged .
    Please reinstall following these instructions :

    1) Download a fresh copy of NOD32 for your correct operating system
    Trial version Full paid version

    2) Goto Control Panel-> Add/Remove programs and Uninstall NOD32

    3) Reboot

    4) Goto C:\Program files and manually delete the folder ESET

    ~snip~ Blackspear

    6) Install NOD32 from the file you just downloaded in step 1
    Use Typical settings

    7) Make sure you have stable i-net connection and NOD32 (nodkrn.exe) is allowed to go through your firewall and Update NOD

    8 ) Configure NOD32 as shown here

    At the end , perform full scan :
    Start-Programs-ESET-NOD32 Control Center-NOD32- Run NOD32 -> Scan & Clean

    Enjoy :D

    Thank you very much HiTech boy !

    Yesterday, I remove & reinstall NOD32 following your instructions...
    And when I update NOD32 2.51.26 for the first time, I had this message box "Downloaded file is damaged" after I updated again engine0 and much more...

    But today it updated "normally" without showing any (error) message ?!

    'The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1695 (20060807)'

    I hope that NOD32 still updating normally tomorrow...
