is there a way to configure endpoint security firewall to work side by side with windows firewall? what i want is to use directaccess funcionality with windows 8 and webcontrol function of endpoint security and for that i need both firewalls active all the time.

    Thanks.
    Best regards.

i found a solution myself. you have to set endpoint security firewall in system integration option to personal firewall is inactive. in that case you have functional web control functionality and windows 8 directaccess at the same time.

Disabling the personal firewall completely is not a good idea as access to sites known to host malware will not be blocked and you may get infected. If you need to disable the firewall functionality, switch the integration option to "Only scan application protocols".
