I think we should create an official EAM thread.

yes ;) "sammeln" is german for "collecting". in that case sammelthread means a thread where he can copy and paste every single changelog he finds into.;)

I just ordered EAM v7. Can I use this serial on v8? Or will v7 update to v8 through internal updating?

    EAM should perform auto-update.

So I've downloaded EAM 8. When my EAM 7 arrives I'll install 8. And use the 7 serial?

Correct. Your serial is not bound to any specific version. Just put it in and you are good to go :).

Please excuse my idiocy. I was thinking EAM & MBAM were the same company. Up too late.

Sad to say I had to remove EAM this morning from my XP SP3 system.

Everything got bogged down, services.exe was running amok and I could barely use the system. (Even after a couple of reboots, performance was still problematic.)

Removed and the system went back to being snappy.

I should note that I've been using EAM for a long time without issues before this release. When I have the time and energy I may try to reinstall again.

Will someone please point out the GUI improvements? I see that they have added additional categories to better organize log files. What else?

I hope the simultaneous connections during updating reduces memory and cpu usage.

Does the new EAM use Photon Technology?
