'Embarrassingly simple' hack could leave up to 100 million credit cards exposed

    edit: Well perhaps the headline should have included the word "unlikely"...to be more accurate.

    Don't bump into strangers, especially if carrying wallet.

    It wasn't all that long ago they were telling people not to carry cash because they could be robbed. Now it appears that the opposite is equally true.

    This has been known for years. It's in the news once in a while with someone holding essentially a device the size of an ipad, bumping into someone, and stealing their info.

    There's a good reason why I got no credit card. :D

    The bottom line is: Carry no money, carry no credit cards. If you ain't got nothing, they can't steal from you. Not money, anyway. :argh:

    Don't wear any fancy clothing or jewelry either, for that matter. Don't drive a car, because that way you won't be victim of carjacking. I wonder, is there a bikejacking kind of thing? :doubt:

    Best solution: Don't have money. Or income. Or liquid assets. Can't steal what isn't there!

    (Or just use a wallet designed to block those waves.)
