Hi all, I seem to have been infected by malware? I have mailed Prevx the scan log of what I believe to be a false positive. This however is not the reason for posting. Even though I removed the threat, the MyPrevx page makes no mention of this attack. No email was sent to me either, informing me of this. Has Prevx stopped this service?
This is an Age/Spread detection, not a "hard" malware detection, which is why it wasn't reported through MyPrevx. You can configure these alerts through the Heuristic Settings screen if you seem to receive too many of them. However, I've whitelisted the file now as it is legitimate so you should be fine to use it as-is
