    I am currently testing it. It is crashing a lot in WinXP SP3. First update is of huge size. Moreover, during update there is no icon in system tray. Perhaps during update protection is off?

    EDIT: @AvinashR : I don't think it uses Bitdefender engine. Moreover installer is 12.4 MB only after extraction (C:\Program Files\ElementAntiVirus2011GOTDSetupPackage). Update process is too slow.

    I don't have much faith in their antivirus. But their browser looks interesting- I wouldn't trust it though. Softpedia had a developer edition of the browser besides the regular one.

    Judge for youselves, but my opinion is, it's not ready to protect. Why he/they are releasing this now without regular daily updates is baffling ? Not only that, but in it's present state it's bound to give him/them even more grief etc :eek:

    I tested their software, looks good but works bad... Surely not using Bitdefender. As in GAOTD the updater link the developer gave is only about ~4 Mb in size. Buggy installer, Buggy updater, no right click of custom folder or file scanner. I tested it with my set of malwares, it detected few in full system scan but hanged while removing those.

    Check how the malware is classified in Element AV and compare it with how that same malware classified by BD from that we can come to know whether it used BD engine or not:)

    I guess you have already done that;)

    Hi icr.. as there is no right click scan I could not do that. I based my comment on the number of detections it made with the number Bitdefender made... It detected a muuuuch less...

    @bellgamin: lollzz..:D
