ekrn memory memory used

Hi, every morning we start pc to work, ESET start together, ekrn(ESS 4.2.40.26) take 50 MB memory more or less.... but i check it in afternoon, mean pc runing for some hours later, ekrn only take 16 MB memory , I don't why, could you help ? my system is Windows 7 ultimate

The OS must be displaying wrong data. Only the engine with virus signatures itself takes up about 25 MB.

 

takes more memory as it initiates, does various checks, scans etc? Then later all quiets down

 

I don't know why ,but it shows like that exactly, just now I found it returned to 47 MB. thx ~

 

even though all quiets, memory still be 48MB for a long time, and it always shows a lower number（20M more or less） sometimes, but marcos said it must be a wrong display, may be you can check about yours ekrn sometimes in a day
