I understand this issue has been raised before, and I also understand that this issue is address by ESET under FAQ's here: http://www.eset.com.sg/html/169/698/

    This presents the following issues:
The two updates that it refers to, I have, and that the version this refers to is likely to be version 2 or version 3. However, I have version 4, and the CPU runs at 100% and I am sure that if I had more CPU, it would consume that too...

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am in the UK, and if an email address to ESET support can be forthcoming, that too would be appreciated.

Could you please check in Protection status -> Statistics if the number of scanned files is continually rising? If so, does the name of the scanned object change or is virtually same all the time?
