    Hello all,

I discover this forum by searching information for an error.
I use client/server architecture with those products:
    - Eset Remote Administration Console 2.0.33
    - Eset Administrator Server
    - Eset NOD32 Antivirus 3.0.621.0

Today, I experience a problem on a File/Print server. The server was in freeze state and a force restart has been done.

In the event log, in found this error:
    Event Type: Information
    Event Source: DrWatson
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 4097
    Date: 29/07/2008
    Time: 22:06:40
    User: N/A
    Computer: SERVERNAME
    Description:
The application, C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\ekrn.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 07/29/2008 @ 22:06:39.924 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 7C829FFA (ntdll!RtlAllocateHeap)
    ...

    Any idea about this problem?

    Thank you

We have had problems with nod32 and our file/web server causing the server to become unresponsive to file sharing and print traffic.

We have currently disabled nod32 until we can modify the config for a server specific config and update to the newest version.
