The linux agent ran fine on kernel kernel 2.6.24-11-server (ubuntu 8.10).
But, is does not run anymore after I updated the kernel to 2.6.24-14-server.

    Code:
    # uname -rm
    2.6.27-14-server x86_64
    Code:
    # sudo dkms build -m snapapi26 -v 0.7.42 -k 2.6.27-14-server --config /boot/config-2.6.27-14-server --arch x86_64 --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.27
Preparing kernel 2.6.27-14-server for module build:
(This is not compiling a kernel, just preparing kernel symbols)
Storing current .config to be restored when complete
    Running Generic preparation routine
    make mrproper....
    using /boot/config-2.6.27-14-server
    make oldconfig....
    make prepare.....

    Building module:
    cleaning build area....
    make KERNELRELEASE=2.6.27-14-server -C /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.27 SUBDIRS=/var/lib/dkms/snapapi26/0.7.42/build modules....
    cleaning build area....
    cleaning kernel tree (make mrproper)....

    DKMS: build Completed.
    Code:
    # sudo dkms install -m snapapi26 -v 0.7.42 -k 2.6.27-14-server --config /boot/config-2.6.27-14-server --arch x86_64 --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.27
    Running module version sanity check.

    Thank you.

The script did not report any error.
The agent runs fine, and I can make backups again.
