Is there any possibility to set the updateserver to a specific one (in preconfiguration)?

Tried to set "av_update_server" under the [global] Tab in esets.cfg ...
Tried to set "av_update_server_list" under [gui] Tab...

Seems no option will be adopt.

(No possibility to set it via Remote Install Package Creation)

    Regards
    Meg

    Hello,

Are you referring to ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 Business Edition for Mac OS X, virus signature database updates?

When you create a remote installation package, you can only enter your provided username and password.

You can enter virus signature update information directly into ESET. See ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 Business Edition for Mac OS X User Guide (section 4.2.2 - Update setup), available here: http://www.eset.com/us/documentation

On the client, go to Setup > Enter application preferences > Update -- to add a new update server, click Edit... Then enter the address of the new server in the Update Server input field (e.g., http://server hostname or ip addr:2221) and click the Add button. Delete the username/password information. Click OK button.

Additionally, within ESET Remote Administrator, you can use the Policy Manager feature to update the update server information (Mac OS X/Linux Desktop ESET NOD32 Antivirus > Setup > Update - AV update server - e.g., http://server hostname or ip addr:2221).

Detailed information about using the Policy Manager can be found here:
What is the ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) Policy Manager and how does it work?

    Thx,

    did it via era policy.
But would be nice to have the availability to do it via preconfiguration (like in windows or linux).
