east tec eraser 2004 and panda 2005

On Panda 2005 analysis, Silent exe and eraser.dll are removed from C:\program files\east Tec 2004\...preventing program from working (of course). The East Tec program sets all files in the recycle bin to binary zeros (so they say ) which I find useful for a number of my workfiles. Does anyone have a trick to prevent panda from seeing East Tec as a virus? Thank you all

While I don't have a solution for your current issue, as I don't use Panda. I will move your post to the Other Anti-Virus Forum where it will receive better attention.

As far as a secure eraser goes, you might like to try Heidi's Eraser instead of East Tec, it's freeware. You can read more about it here -> http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/features.php
