    E000101F4: Application Module Error
Cannot find the necessary Acronis True Image Home modules.
Please reinstall Acronis True Image Home.

How aggravating to start to do a backup and have this thrown at you. What the....over? Arghhhh.

Any fix other than doing what it says?

    10.0, 4942.

Try a repair install first. That may work.

    Hello jcarerra,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please try performing a repair installation, as suggested by thomasjk.

If that doesn't solve the problem, please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, unpack the archive and install unpacked MSI package.

If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

    - Replace C:\WINDOWS\system32\snapapi.dll with the one from the downloaded SnapAPI archive;
    - Reproduce the issue and collect the log file without closing any application windows (including the error message windows if there are any). The log file will be created at C:\ . The name of the log file will be snapapi [date-time].log

Please make a screen shot of the Device Tree application the way described in this previous post.

Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.

I did a full reinstall and the error dialog no longer appears, but the storage tree did not appear in the left panel. When I started typing the path, some selections appeared in the popdown.

Today, I opened it just to see how it was working, and it froze repeatedly after selecting Disk 1 to backup. Task Manager to kill it. Reboot, and it ran ok, and the left panel is populated.

I must say here...I used to recommend TI to everyone. We were using v8 at work, and had almost no problems with it. And I bought a home copy, using it with minor inconveniences. Now, however, using v10 it seems to be an extremely "touchy" app. Error dialogs out of nowhere, random freeze-ups, have to reboot to make it work, storage location not populated, etc. I don't believe it is a solid product any more. I'm sorry I upgraded to v10 so I could load it on a Vista machine. Too many problems with it.
