Yes, read about this. I'm guessing they will get lengthy jail sentences. In another recent case (in Holland), they also arrested criminals who stole 2 million via banking trojans. The main suspects will probably get 6 and 5 years.
It's crazy, they will get 3 months for stealing at least 20.000 euro via ransomware, punishment in Holland is a joke. BTW, I've read a Dutch article and it stated that the CoinVault authors were always trying to bypass AV's, they used process hollowing for this. Kaspersky was always hard to bypass they told.
