Drweb beta+strange infections

    Hi,

    I have installed DrWeb beta on one of my pcs and ran a scan.It picked up infections that kav missed ? Not sure...

    have you tried virustotal on them?
    and, maybe send them off to dr.web for analysis if you aint sure, move the items to be safe until they are analyzed for you, they will be put into drwebs quarentine folder in program files/drweb/infected!! :)

    Nope, not yet. I will tho.


    P.S. A few hours ago I installed a prog, rebooted and my pc was soo slow it was not even funny.Scanned the prog with kav and it found nothing.uninstalled kav and installed drweb beta.Drweb flagged it as infected.removed the infected bit using drweb and rebooted.lo and behold problem gone...:eek:

    thats strange, if its removed it and your pc is fast again, no problems.

    but sure, check out the others on VT and also send for analysis, be sure to move the files just to keep you safe.
