    Hi Raaki,
In this same section go to the 2nd page and look for a thread called:
"Drivesnap: drive snapshot frontend". This front end program for Drivesnapshot
was written by Markymoo. A search on "Markymoo" might also get the thread.
What this program does is automate the drive snapshot program thereby making
it easier to use. I also had the same problem with Ubuntu that you had but I think
this program by Markymoo will solved the dual booting problems.
    Hope this helps.

You might check out Clonezilla, it will do images for both Linux and Win. Boot from the Clonezilla CD and image or restore. Not sure what you're trying to do though, so this may not be what you had in mind? But Clonezilla is reliable and works very well. And it's free also.

An example would be favorable. Or go find the restore only Linux client snapshot.static, available from drivesnapshot.de.

Why is booting speed important in this scenario?

Because booting into the other xp takes 25 secs that is high when compared to 70 sec image restore process.
