    Hi All,

    Has anyone tried this: http://driveragent.com/

I allowed it to scan my machine & many drivers appear to be old. One thing I'm very reluctant to update, as this machine is a Sony which is very proprietary, & most hardware sites will just refer you to Sony's site for updates. Also I am not sure if it would be beneficial to do the updates, driver agent suggests, after all there out to make a buck. Some of the drivers they flag are:

Universal Serial Bus Controllers, Network Adapter (Intel Pro/100 ve), Intel 82801eb Ultra ATA storage controller.

    Thanks & Take Care

PS Sony has not put out any updates since early 2005.

just to try, i also ran a scan. 38% percent of my drivers were "bad". My display driver are ForceWare v91.28 and i know theyre pretty recent. my chipset and printer drivers are also as updated as can be. i got old USB controller drivers too.

i dont trust it. just get the latest updated from ur comp manufacturers site and youll be fine.
