Drive detection problem in DD10

I've just installed DD10 in Vista SP1 and have run into nearly the same problem I had when I installed ATI11. When I boot from the rescue disk in Full mode it hangs, and when I boot in Safe Mode it can only see my two SATA disks - no opticals, no USB disks.

The ATI problem was slightly different in that in full mode it would boot but could only see the opticals and USBs, but not the SATAs.

The ATI problem was never solved and I had to use a VistaPE disk to be able to use the program. Is there something similar I can do with DD?

Yes there is something you can do with VistaPE. All you need now is Mustang's script for DD10 to add to your VistaPE build.

 

Even if you didn't need DD in VistaPE due to driver issues, having both TI and DD in VistaPE makes switching between the programs very quick and easy as no reboot is necessary.
