    Hello all,

    It seems that I have lost most of my drag and drop functionality on my desktop. If I drag a shortcut to a folder on my desktop, it opens windows explorer now. It does not move to shortcut to the folder like it should. Any ideas?

    Hi Kent, ;)

    I found this --> http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=5242

    I don't know about this site ... but you could check into this. I couldn't find anything in the M$ KB or anywhere else for that matter.

    HTH, ;)

    Which OS & browser? May want to repair IE. Could be a bad patch. Use system restore if available.

    You could always reload windows on top of the existing OS.

    Just to confirm Kent ... I verified this data with my registry ... and it is identical.
