Does the Dr.Web LiveCD scan the MBR for Rootkits?

I looked through the latest Dr.Web LiveCD manual and could find no mention of scanning for Rootkits. When the Dr.Web LiveCD starts a scan it appears to jump right to scanning files/directories. I could not find anything about scanning the MBR for Rootkits in the help menu.

It is clear to me that Dr.Web Cureit scans the MBR for Rootkits at the start of the scan.

    Thanks in Advance.

I also posted in the Dr.Web Forum and got a reply that the Dr.Web LiveCD does scan for Rootkits. I "guess" that the scan of the boot sector(s) happens so fast that you cannot visually notice it.
