    Doctor Web, Ltd., a Russian anti-virus software developer, announces the
    release of the updated version of Dr.Web Anti-virus engine drweb32.dll.

    The updated version contains the following changes:
    Support of new versions of archivers and packers is provided, processing
    of complicated packers is improved.

    On September 20, 2006 Doctor Web, Ltd has eliminated the vulnerability in
    its engine related to an error in processing LHA archives with long
    directory names in the header and reported this fact to some online media
    interested in the vulnerability.

    The updated version of the Dr. Web engine has also improved processing of
    long directory names in LHA archives, processing of detected
    vulnerabilities in gzip archives is added.

    You can download the updated drweb32.dll from the update area of the web
    server of Doctor Web, Ltd., it can also be downloaded automatically during
    the regular update.
