    Hello Sonya,

Go into the nod32 option and select 'run nod32' (on right) after a few seconds a new window will popup and this will have 4 tabs at the top, select 'setup' and look at the items on the right. :) under 'diagnostic methods' I also select everything under the 'scan' option on the left with the exception of ntfs.

    Hope this helps?

    Toby.

Hint: You can also run a 'in-depth-analysis'

There are all settings enabled to maximum.
Just scan with this until you figured out how to make your settings.

    Blackspear's great tutorial

I just discovered this tutorial myself. It is a great guide for a new user.

I would beg to differ with Blackspear on one small point: In the Scheduler/Planner (see Post #20 in the tutorial) I also checked the third box, which runs the Updater as soon as I log on. Then, when I check e-mail, as I usually do after logging on, NOD32 is scanning it with the latest virus signature file.

Hi, I am following instructions in the link above, on how to set it all up.
How do I set this to "higher efficiancy"? I don't see an option to change it.

    Thanks everyone!!!
    I really like NOD32 .
Before I configured it to Blackspears info in his link, Nod32 found 5 trojans. Then after I configured to his link, it found 8 more.
Wow!!! And just to think the AV and FW I had before (today) was letting all those get rite by, hmmmm?
I don't see how my computer survived before today. :D

    Oh ya,this ones for SpannerInTheWorks...
    I installed the ZoneAlarm FW :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Really good to see Sonya, I'm not sure what other security you have, there are a few setups that you may want to take a look HERE. As well there are discussions HERE and even more HERE.

    Hope this helps...

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers :D
