    Hi There:

I think I've clean the trojan from my machine, but one of the side effects is that it did something to my MS File Explorer.

When I click on the System Restore tab, Explore comes back with "Run a DLL App" has encountered a problem. In other words this trojan has disabled the System Restore tab some how.

I have the same problem on 2 machines, which only occurred when the downloader.agent trojan appeared on them, so it's definitly a problem associated to the virus.

Any ideas on how I can fix my MS File Explorero_O

    Thks

    Ron

    I found a link here

You could try it and see if it works.

    Solution

    1. Click Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services.
    2. Right-click System Restore Service and click Properties.
    3. From the Startup Type drop-down, select Disabled.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Close the Services and Administrative Tools windows.
    6. Right-click My Computer, click Properties, and click the System Restore tab. The System Restore tab should now display properly; however, the System Restore service will be disabled.
    7. Enable System Restore and click Apply.
