downloaded files

    i have recently upgraded to broadband, and now when i download something it is ok untill i try to run or save it, nothing happens and the download isnt on my computer, also when i go to some sites pogo games is one example it loads so far then shuts down,i could get on pogo ok untill i changed to broadband, any help much appreciated, thankyou.

    Welcome to Wilders.

    Broadband shouldn't affect anything you do online except speed things up.

    You might want to list your operating system, security apps such as firewalls, and who your broadband provider is so help can be provided.

    thanks, ive got windows xp. with blueyonder broadband pc guard,with anti virus,firewall,anti spyware,pop up blocker and privacy manager. since my first post,i have downloaded an update from hewlet packard which worked ok, but i am still having the same problem with every other site.
