Has NOD intercepted any viruses since you've been using it? If not , then there's nothing to see. Logs are deleted after 30 days(that's the default) unless you change it. See NOD32 System Set Up under NOD32 System Tools in the Control Centre and click on Setup, Then Log Maintenance.

    Marcos,

the file that you sent makes NOD32 works very well.
I only had one "Downloaded file is damaged", so the problem could be resolved with this file by default, but I will see how it works on the next days...

    Thanks

    Marcos,

I think that you can use this file by default on NOD32 :)

    Works very well ;)

If you will put it by default, please let me know...

    Thanks

Hi, i'm from Singapore and i'm having the 'file is damaged' error too. I have to continually click update manually before the updates can be downloaded successfully. I don't think that is very efficient. May i know what is the 'official' solution for this error? Many thanks.

The same here - I'm in Singapore (ISP: Starhub) and am unable to find a solution to this. Interesting thing is that with trial version it worked fine. But since I bought a licence the only way for me to get a sucesful update is by clicking "Update Now". With automatic update I get 'Downloaded file is damaged'.

I have read a lots of stuff on this board - and tried many things but I'm unable to solve it. Is there anyone here who used to have this problem and found a way to fix it?

    thank you

    Stano,

With the DLL file that Marcos gives me, I don't have any problem...

Maybe he can also sent it for you, or if he gives me permission to share the file...

May we know what DLL are you talking about?

I refrain from recommending NOD32 to people connecting to the internet via cable modems!
I managed to overcome this issue by configuring NOD32 to use a proxy server harvested from http://www.proxy4free.com/index.html, but that's a pain in the ass, because when the proxy is no longer available, NOD32 stops updating.

I don't need a proxy myself as I have DSL and not cable, but I do it, and I check daily if NOD32 is still updating.
When it stops updating I must search for a new proxy, and call all my "cable modem connected friends" to change it again...

Read the post #61 of this Topic ;)

I don't know why Marcos doesn't say nothing about this...

If you've got that dll, you can send it to the guy having the problem. I won't have it at my disposal until tomorrow.

Dear all, I think the problem is over. I replaced the DLL on two computers and now they update like a charm.
But... DLL version reads 2.12.0.65535. Installed version was 2.50.41.0.

Hopefully Eset will make that future installations will not replace the working DLL, am I right?

And I hope someone from Eset will say something about that. It's not nice to live with the anxiety some friend we recommended NOD32 is not updating...

Happy New Year Wilders Members and readers!;)
