Anyone know anything about Downloadcrew Software Store? It seems they sell software and you have to download it.
I notice that Avast Pro 7 is on sale for $9.99.

I've used the downloadcrew store many times as well. Worked all the time. They have some great deals that are hard to resist. They used to have a giveaway page that was regularly updated too, but looks like it's been abandoned.

It's the same as Major Geeks store and both can be trusted! http://store.majorgeeks.com/ I got a few programs from them without any issues!

The layout looks so identical. Right down to exact same list of brands. Makes you wonder what the connection is. Heck, the list of recently added/updated is also identical.

I remember, v3.co.uk given BitDefender Antivirus Plus 2010 licenses away. I got over 40 keys, it's still valid now :D

These stores are my stores :)

Here's a brief history of why they were launched. My company produces software news, reviews and downloads for various publishing media partners across the world. A few years ago, one of our UK partners had a software store from Digital River, which was became somewhat neglected. We were working for this UK media partner and decided "hey, we could do this ourselves". We launched the V3.co.uk store back in 2009 and, since then, have worked with various other partners across the world, as you can see above.

Yes, that was a disaster, frankly. Some users took the ~ Snipped as per TOS ~. One guy in Germany managed to get 1000 codes in one day. Result? Made it very difficult to convince Bitdefender (we did another with AVG, remember?) to do something similar again :(

Instead of doing online giveaways (we've done a few on the Downloadcrew site), we're now running the some promos with our magazine partners instead - so we recently gave away Bitdefender AV and AVG AV through UK magazine partners, rather than online. Online promos are very tricky to restrict! Plus you get tons and tons of post-promo "I can't install!" and similar tech issues, which take so much time to answer.

i got AVG Premium with the Mobilation Serial and i can not use it because there is no way of finding AVG mobilation to install your own key . They only sell it t google play or Android Market . I just let it go after contacting AVG support 5 times with no help.:thumbd: :thumbd: Other than that it is just fine . AVG premium works fine
