Hey, I recently installed Shockwave Version 10 on my system and a program called download.exe has asked for internet access is it safe to allow ths program fall acess or should i block it??

Here some info i have found: (what has this got to do with Macromedia?

    download - download.exe - Process Information

    Process File: download or download.exe
    Process Name: Webcelerator web browser

    Description:
download.exe is a part of the Webcelerator web browser accelerator software, which claims to make Internet explorer function faster. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling this is down to user preference.

I take this was an "extra" that came with Shockwave install?
Does doing a custom install give you the option to install/not install this component?

If it not required, and something you do not want to use, then deny it access to the Internet.
