Any reason for same signature. Thanks Time Module Event User 21.5.2005 1:16:47 Kernel The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1103 (20050520). 20.5.2005 20:17:29 Kernel The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1103 (20050520).
Are you using an Admin version? Because today I uninstalled and installed new version from web 2.5.19.. After rebooting NOD32 updated (Event Log showed:"Virus signatures have been successfully updated to 1.1103) . But then I set Mirror module to save a copy of update files. Mirror downloaded all components from update server and then NOD32 showed again: "Virus signatures have been successfully updated to 1.1103.".. hope this helps
not the admin version. mine was beta which was automatically converted to v2.50.16 yes. one step only.install>restart window appears>I hit restart> thats it didn't prompt for user/pass or any thing else.
And did you install version 2.5.19(downloaded from website) over 2.5.16 Because your virus signature database could be more actual than from install package of 2.5.19... So your Event log contained old item ("Virus signature has been.....") and after rebooting your old database has been updated...and new item appeared...
Hi hadi: Re-installing NOD32 over the top of an earlier version will overwrite the virus signature base with the version that was in the downloaded web version, but not the log files (they are appended). Hence when an update occurs, it shows the signature database updated (again with the latest).
