I ran AVG Anti-Virus and it detected the SecThought.E Virus once on 6/10 and then not again until 6/29. When I try to move the file to my virus vault, it won't let me "file cannot be moved". Just to be safe, I ran

Panda Software Online Virus Scan at http://www.pandasoftware.com/active...n_principal.htm

The Symantec Online Virus Scan at
    http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/...id=ie&venid=sym

The House Call Online Virus Scan at
    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

None of these programs detected it.

I used Spybot S&D, here is my Hijack This Log:

    Re: HijackThis Log

    Thanks a lot.

For more recent info on my virus problems check this out:

    http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=42918

I now have the following anti-virus programs:

    AVG Anti-Virus
    Ad Aware 6.0
    Spybot S&D
    SpywareBlaster
    Zone Alarm

I have a copy of McAffee Anti-Virus scanner that came with my comp. Apparently there is a threat with having two resident anti-virus scanners (AVG and McAffee). However, I usually close McAffee when my desktop loads because it is such a drain on system resources. Should I uninstall it completely?

    Re: HijackThis Log

    Hello,

I would like you to do a Ctrl+Alt+Del and look for these processes running. If you see them running, I want you to End Task these processes, bascially shutting them down:

    WTOOLSA.EXE
    WSUP.EXE
    RFCRJ.EXE

Run Hijackthis again with all browsers closed and check these items and then on Fix:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {87766247-311C-43B4-8499-3D5FEC94A183} - C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WINTOOLS\WTOOLSB.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Rfcrj] C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\RFCRJ.EXE
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe

Do you know what this one is Wormwworldparty? I see it is on your desktop in a folder called MyStuff?? If you don't know what this is, check it in hijackthis log and fix.
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WormsWorldParty.exe] C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\MYSTUF~1\WORMSW~1\WORMSW~1.EXE /r

Also, I see WinMX a p2p file sharing. Just beware of what you are downloading. This is where you can get many infections.

Reboot the computer into safe mode

    Open My Computer.
Select the View menu and click Folder Options.
    Select the View Tab.
In the Hidden files section select Show all files.
    Click OK.

    Find and delete these folders:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools ..................Entire folder
    C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\RFCRJ.EXE
And this one if you checked it in HJT
    C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\MYSTUF~1 ...............Entire folder

Reboot and post a fresh log here. And yes, uninstall one of the antivirus programs.
