The man at Sandboxie won't accept donations. I usually make donations
to the various programs I use once each year.
I feel he is shooting himself in the foot by doing it this way.

  2. Wow!! geez maybe he is trying in these hard economic times too be charitable. That is a good thing who knows for whatever reason developer passes on donations its their call.

Maybe because he is selling the software? (Although he really could accept the donation since he is offering a free version and it does not contain any toolbars or anything)

Maybe he's so convinced that anyone who has been using the free version will buy a license eventually. What can I say. He's got me and lots more.:D

If Tzuk ever thinks he needs the money I'd pay an annual subscription no problem. I've been using the product for years for a measly one off fee. Great value.

As for donations, if he don't want them it's his call. Maybe you could just buy the product again periodically for friends/family or whatever if you want to contribute?

    Cheers

E.g. to some Wilders members; there are many that will like to have a SandboxIE license...

    $25 is a tad high.
I donate to about 2 dozen free programs a year. At $25 a clip that would be
    a huge some of money.
I don't get anyway near that kind of money for what I write.
Sure it's a nice program but I can function just fine without it if I have to.

It's different for me, I can't browse the web without the protection of Sandboxie. Just having it is giving me a peace of mind. :D
