Please vote and give your reason.

    Pros-
    1. All the other sites seem to have a FB page.
    2. Product updates and official announcements may be easier to make to a FB audience.
    3. Site traffic and exposure could be increased.

    Cons-
    1. Just because every other site has a FB page doesn't mean Wilders needs one too.
    2. This is a security site and there is a general distaste for FB and FB privacy policies.
3, Who is going to manage the FB page?

    No.

There are at least a few users here who outright don't use Facebook.
I don't really want people from some internet forum knowing who I am.
I rarely check Facebook, I'm sure others are the same.

I see no real benefits from this.

No. Wilders doesn't need a Facebook page.
    Why would it?
Aside from the fact that I don't give a rat's whachacallit for Facebook, I see no benefit to be derived from it. :thumbd:

IMO there is no need for a Facebook page for a forum like this... I don't see what purpose would that serve.

We do not need a facebook fan page. Take the case of the fanpage of Avast and Comodo there, almost all the post there come in the way of advertisements and some hint of trouble using the applications. Some just plain and simple just wanna go there and ridicule the page. Facebook will not in anyway help Wilder's. People who are serious about security come here not the other way around.

NO. As others, I would not see Wilders degraded, defaced, or otherwise reduced in such manner.

Wilders represents tradition. It has remained steadfast while others evolved with glitz. To me, it is what it was when started, and will hopefully will remain as is, when it ever finishes.

    It stands alone.:thumb:

No I don't think Wilders should have a facebook or a MySpace page, the people majority of people who tend to populate would never come to a place like Wilders. If people from facebook came to Wilders their head would explode.

    NO !!
    Please, NO!! Pointless.
Last thing we need on this decent forum is millions of people slowing down the Wilders servers and walking away anyway.

I voted yes on this one.

People who don't use Facebook and/or want to remain "anonymous": you can simply stay away from it.
