Specifically, I would like to transfer a windows image to a bootcamped partition on a Macbook.

Does this work with TI 11? TI 10 wouldn't see the bootcamp partition (though the CD would boot on the Mac if you had it set to auto-boot)

If not with a TI 11 CD directly, does it work with the BartPE TI 11 plug-ins?

    Anybody tried this?

    Thanks!

I haven't tried this, if in theory other 'nix drivers can see your bootcamp partition, then it might be that the Linux based CD can now see the drive.

Did the previous BartPE plugins work with a Mac?

So long as you are not using Mustangs plug ins, the changes in the TI11 cfg file for Bart are not that different. - Mainly pointing to the new cfg file.

    Hello stevemaser,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please be aware that officially none of the current version of Acronis True Image supports Macintosh computers and, therefore, we cannot guarantee that Acronis software will work correctly on them. Most likely future versions will support it. We regret to inform you that we cannot tell the exact time-frame when that will be implemented.

We recommend you to download and install the free trial version of Acronis True Image 11.0 Home to see how the software works on your computer. With the trial version of the product you will be able to fully use the Windows version for 15 days. The bootable rescue media will be limited to restore function.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.

The previous BartPE plug-ins (the TI 10) didn't work. If I boot from the TI 10 CD, I can copy my image to the *entire* hard disk (which I don't want to do), but it doesn't see the Bootcamp partition directly. Probably because it doesn't know what to do with the Mac-formatted partition.

If somebody can try this with TI 11 (either with the official CD or with the BartPE plug-ins, I'd love to hear about it!)
