Does PE now work with McAfee firewall?

I'd like to buy PE, but in the past, I have been told it does not work with the McAfee firewall.

Does anybody know if this is still true?

the last reply regarding this has been on april 2005, idk is much has changed. meanwhile if u rele need to use PE, change firewalls or temporarily disable mcafee's. and lastly, i was surprised at the number of threads on mcafee and PE: heres one, two, three. im sure theres more.

DiamondCS and many users have not been able to get any appropriate support from mcafee in this matter; most probably a configuration thing in the firewall, but it is not solved without proper support or maybe additional development in that firewall. But there are much better products to change your mcafee firewall with, so check the wilders forum for those!
