    - Is P3SOLs strenght not realtime protection/blocking malware, but finding them when scanning and cleaning them up?

    - I have set mine to scan 9am and if I am not on at that time it should scan at next bootup - correct?

    - If my pc was never shut down but just in some variant of restposition. Would P3 recognize when PC was resuming function and scan? Asking since I have had 48 hours between scans - which is not good enough in my book.

    - I would like to be able to set up scan intervals like scan 9am 12 am 3pm etc and if P3 couldnt scan then I want some options telling P3 what kind of action to take if it wasnt able to scan when told to do so. Alternatively if it hasnt scanned for xx hours scan immedeatly.

    - Will P3 warn me if I am not connected to the internet while scanning?

    - When I press for details on Malware Removal an Realtime Protection I am sent to License popup - why?

    Best Regards

No, everything that Prevx will find during a scan, it will find in realtime.

    Correct :)

There are some cases where a scan is not required - Prevx is always aware of what files are on your PC and which ones are not trusted from our central DB. If everything is trusted, it won't run a scan so you may see some additional duration between your scan times.

We don't offer this at the moment but a similar feature is in Prevx 4 :)

No, P3 can function fine when offline - it is aware of changes made by newly introduced programs and can undo changes if required when it does reconnect, and it will rescan programs that have been introduced automatically with our central DB if needed.

The only details for Removal/Protection are your license details, showing that they are enabled.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Joe, in the FAQ sticky, you should add some q and A's underneath of common questions. Like these. :)

But then we are back to block malware in the process of gaining access to my PC or finding it later and clean it up. Could not a lot of damage be done meanwhile. If protection is not as good offline as online I would like an explanatory popup. My alternative might be to wait with running that USB or install those files until I am connected if that would be safer. Or what is it I dont understand. A cloudbased antimalware that is as good even if not in contact with the cloud? Block must be better than cleaning up afterwards?

This will all be improved substantially in the very near future with Prevx 4 which includes offline protection :) In the meantime, you could use another AV if you do introduce a large number of new programs into your system when offline, but that would be a non-standard use case as users don't tend to perform large installations when offline.
