Does NOD32 Protect while updating?

    I noticed that emails I receive while NOD is updating don't get marked at the bottom with the "scanned by NOD32" notification.

    Is the program still protecting while it is updating?

    I'm not sure what module you use to check emails, but they 100% check emails/files all the time, even during an update.

    I use Outlook Express.

    Does everyone of your emails get marked as checked by NOD at the bottom? Wonder why an occasional one doesn't get marked on my system?

    I assume it has nothing to do with updates. Rather than that, I assume emails with no tag messages are html emails with incorrect html formatting.
