Does Debian Etch support 1280x800 (wide screen) resolution

    Does Debian Etch support 1280x800 (wide screen) resolution and if so can this resolution be achieved without the risk of brain damage tying to do it. Any information would be gratefully received.

    It's a standard resolution, no reason why not to.
    But you might need drivers for your card to get it to display this one.
