does chrome work with norton?

Hi:

I was wondering if norton AV/IS 2013 has any protection for chrome browsers or any other browsers beside firefox and IE? I mean download scanning protection and phishing protection etc.?

Are there any other security AVs that work with other browsers beside IE and Firefox? Thanks in advance for you answer.

P.S. I do not use firefox because of the flash crash and freezing issues and IE does not have add-ons and risky.

Yes, Norton works very well with Chrome. Norton works with all the major browsers and does it pretty well.

Most AVs work with most browsers. You should just focus on the AV that is best for you and you can probably safely assume the browser is covered.

AVs that have done very well in the past year include:

F-Secure
G-Data
Kaspersky
Emsisoft
Bitdefender

All of these work with all the major browsers.
