Yes, on all my PC's. It's been my default browser for almost 8 months now. I also use Firefox and Opera. But lately Opera is only open when a new version comes out. Took me a while to get used to the Chrome interface, but the default Firefox interface is very similar.

not anymore. i use Firefox on Bodhi Linux instead of Chromium. whatever speed advantage Chrome has in Windows is not really a factor in this Linux machine. and whatever security advantage Chrome has in Windows is pretty much irrelevant in Linux i think. but i'm no expert so take it with a grain of salt.
It used to be that Firefox was pretty ideal for Linux - it was the only browser that really gave them a nod. Now that Chrome is on Linux for ChromeOS it's getting lots of support/ improvements.
But you trust Mozilla which was staffed primarily with Google employees and is funded almost entirely by Google? Or IE... which is run by Microsoft? The company that wants to censor the internet/ is a strong proponent of SOPA. I suppose you could use Opera because... who even knows who those people are. Still closed source.
I don't really trust IE either. I admit, it's mostly a placebo effect, having the name Google associated with it. It sucks too, because there are a lot of things I like about Chrome (namely sandboxed tabs). I think out of the box both it & IE are more secure than Firefox these days. For that matter, I don't really trust Firefox. There's not much I do trust unless my box is physically disconnected from the net.
Not at all. I don't completely trust anything as long as I'm physically connected to the internet. But there are different levels of distrust, and Google is very high up on the distrust list. Microsoft is even higher, and if you don't trust your OS, then the ship has already sailed as far as trusting anything on it.
No I don't use Chrome, I love my Safari very much . But I don't know what the Devs have been doing after Safari version 5.0.5
switched to chrome from FF after using it for about 2 years. i finally had enough of FF laggy and slow interface response and freezes. so yes for me
It's a sign that you have to change! I really though Chrome would have more than 20% by now, how much do their market share increase month by month? I wonder why they removed the Google Chrome notification/ad/recommendation however you wanna call it from the Google Website, it can increase their share faster if they want to do so.
One websites stats put Chrome above 20%. Trying to guess market share isn't easy though, they all have somewhat different stats, though the general idea is the same and the trends are the same.
