Do I still need an anti-spyware?

I'm trying out Norton AV 2007 now and it has anti-spyware abilities. The question is it sufficient without any other ant-spyware program?
Up until now I've been using PestPatrol, CounterSpy (real time) Spybot and ZoneAlarm and have been happy with this arrangement. The problem is that I got a message from Norton during setup that it wasn't compatible with CounterSpy , SpyBot or ZoneAlarm and I should delete them from my computer.

I really don't want to do this and in the meantime I haven't. But I would like to know if it's possible to rely entirely on Norton in this department as I haven't seen it checked or tested in this area on any net-site.

I´d keep one or two backup scanners, no more
For realtime, Norton is probably enough in your security scheme

Would I depend on an antivirus for spyware protection? No.

If it's an antivirus only and you haven't paid for it yet,I'd dump it.
If Norton had an antispyware program and firewall included the message would make some sense.
A suite would be different if you wanted to go that direction.

Actually that's the point, Norton's new 2007 version has both a firewall and
anti-spyware with it. I'm still testing it and haven't made a decision yet.
It seems I will have to decide on one or the others. Or maybe do as Lucas suggested to keep the others as stand by and not real time.
