I know that Todd's company is in some type of negotiation concerning our favorite app and hopefully it will be available to the public consumer when done. I would just like to know, along with many others, is the bread still baking or are we just standing in line with our tongues hanging out, hungry.

Hate to through rain on the parade. But do two things.

    1. Go back and read the post where Todd announced they were taking FDISR off the market. What's changed.

    2. Take a look at the site someone found where it looks like FDISR was recently mentioned. Look at their markets.

    3. Add 2 and 2.

Until an official announcement is made, all is speculation. I await Todd to finally clear up the confusion once & for all.

On a slightly more humorous note, I find it amusing that bread & SourMilk are mentioned in the same post. :D

Hello to all here who have helped me to understand the value of FD. I have appreciated reading many posts here, and although I have so far been limited to the rescue version, I found the site below interesting:

    http://www.leapfrogsoftware.com/products.html

    Again, Thanks to all here.

From looking at the site it does not seem they are talking about the multi snapshot version of the past.

So it is history...never coming back, I'm afraid.

Luckily, I bought my FD-ISR before it was discontinued.

Very interesting. The FAQs from the Leapfrog website are very similar to the original FAQs from the original Raxco First-Defense ISR.

Not quite, as it does mention archiving.

It's interesting that the original Leapfrog Software website now mirrors firstdefenserescue.com, which was created by Todd on 16 February this year.

It seems the old hero comes back to live.
Snapshot archives were key in the old one,at the time ported by Raxco,Peer Software and Software Pursuits.
But i can't believe that its really true. :D

The site says it works with Windows 7. :) Hope it works with 64-bit as well.
    This is so exciting!

I would be willing to go to 32 bit if it doesn't work with 64 bit.

Archives are referenced in the FAQs. As Acadia says, they are similar to the original FAQs. Certain areas may need updating however, such as the URL to the application notes.
