Just bought ESET NOD32 AV v3.0 and wanted to know what i need to disable anything on my PC so that NOD32 will run at peak performance, i have Windows Defender and i am guessing that's AV, should i disable it, if so then how?

I have Vista 64bit, Intel Duo & 4GB RAM, if that makes a difference.

    Thanks in advance.

Defender is Microsofts Anti-spyware program not an Av so no need to disable it. I believe a number of Nod users run it along side of NOD without issues.

No, you don't need to disable Windows Defender. it's a good antispyware by the way with additional functions and compliments NOD nicely.
