So, why don't you install a different firewall which offers ARP cache protection (such as CFP/CIS) and check again whether it's a real problem or just ESS bug?

That is way over my head. I'm sorry but I don't understand techie speak.

Why would I buy another firewall if I'm already paying for one in my ESET Smart Security Suite?

Can't we just find out what is wrong and fix it?

Somebody out there must be knowledgeable about ESET. I really, really could use some help with this "ARP cache poisoning attack" business.

How much trouble am I in? How vulnerable am I to serious problems? Is ESET protecting me despite this firewall logging about these ARP cache poisoning attacks

Really need some help - no techie speak please.

You don't need to buy it, CFP/CIS is totally free. And no, we can't find out whether it's an ESS bug or real ARP cache poisoning unless you provide more information (such as verifying this with a different product).
