DMON & EMON

    I'm a little confused about EMON and DMON. Are these modules for those who have Microsoft Office and Outlook on their systems? i use OpenOffice and Thunderbird. All my email is received in text format (except for trusted sites). I do on occasion receive MS Word documents.
    So, do I really need these modules enabled??

    DMON also checks ActiveX in Internet Explorer . You win nothing with disabling them , the performance will still be the same ;)

    DMON is a plug-in for NOD32 antivirus system that serves for scanning Microsoft Office documents and files downloaded automatically by Internet Explorer (e.g. Microsoft ActiveX elements). DMON provides an additional level of protection to AMON
