I downloaded DivX 5.1 which is ONLY available in adware version if you do not want to pay for it.

I downloaded and installed it from Divx.com.

Immediately after installing, NOD32 popped up and warned about :

    WINROOT\System32\DivX.dll

    probably unknown CRUPT.WIN32 virus

    AMON cannot clean this infiltration.

I know this is probably a fluke, but is there any way to be sure?

I have already removed the bundled Gator using AdAware & Spybot Search & Destroy.

    regards,
    Halcyon

Due to strong heuristics, NOD32 states "propably..." for good reasons. Please submit the file to submit@nod32.com and keep us posted.

    RE: CRUPT

It was my typo obviously :)

I was also running older strains, due to my license renewal process pending.

    I should be up-to-date soon (I hope :)
