I have a valid license for Diskeeper pro 2008, does anyone know if that means I can upgrade to the 2009 version? Thanks.

    Hello,
upgrading to 2009 version costs money.
    see this page
on the right of the page select the product you own and it will tell you the upgrade cost.

But it is free if you have a maintenance license.

A maintenance license cost only US$25.90

I downloaded the free trial version a couple of days ago, and have been trying it on my friend's XP system with 3 HDDs, and it's really good. Defragged all the 3 drives really fast, thoroughly, and the free space consolidation seems to be much better. I didn't notice any difference in the resource usage which was negligible to begin with even in the 2008 version, so i wonder how much lower it can go:p
File sequencing has made its way into the Pro versions, but haven't bothered to check it yet (anyway, according to DK, it takes a week to see results of i-faast). All in all, a solid update to the 2008 version.:thumb:

    Hello,
I think its because i-faast 2 is part of the pro premier version so they decided to give the pro users a bit of older tech.

my parents computer has diskeeper 2007 atm.
may get diskeeper 2009 at somepoint for my pc.

    Hi Lodore,
I just checked the diskeeper site, and it looks like the i-faast in 2009 Pro is actually 2.0:thumb:

    That's good news for us.:)

    Excellent news.
The only difference between pro and pro premier is the size of partitions it will defrag. having a partition more than 768gb is crazy anyway lol.
I wish diskeeper had one version and just had one price. just like perfectdisk does. i prefer diskeeper but dont like their version policy.

I will trial it on my vista system later this week.
