disk director

    Hope somebody can help.I bought disk director to split my C hard drive into 2.
    I have two hard drives of 300 gig and SATA but not running as raid.
    I have partitioned the 2nd hard drive into two parttions ok but disk director allows me to resize C and create a new logical partition and when I complete and commit it restarts and with blue background carries out the operations but when I restart nothing has changed.
    I am running with all drives as NTFS.
    Can anybody advise what I am doing wrong?
    Oh yes I have defragmented.

    I bought and dowloaded DDS v 10 just today, installed it, putting it on "F" as my "C" is nearly full (D & E are CD and DVD drives). I tried 10 times to get it to resize C from 8gb to ANYTHING more, and reduce F accordingly. It says it is ready to proceed, I Commit and reboot, but the drive sizes never change. Am I missing something?
